| Robert Hicks - Operational Director Mr. Hicks is a retired Army Officer, one of whose specialities involved high level Department of Defense protocol, including missions with the President of the United States and myriad foreign dignitaries. His career of over 21 years has taken him worldwide. In additon to his extensive experience in dealing with a wide variety of people in multicultural settings, Mr. Hicks has coordinated operations for a wide variety of offices in cooperation with the Department of State while serving in five consecutive U.S. Embassies abroad. He brings significant leadership, managerial and operational skills to the Ballet Center. |
| Karen Hicks - Artistic Director Mrs. Karen has over 20 years of experience dancing, teaching, and choreographing Ballet. She received her training primarily in Southern California, and has studied dance in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York City. She has performed nationally, most recently as a principal dancer for the Southern California Dance Theatre in Long Beach CA. Mrs. Hicks has owned and operated several dance studios, teaching students of all ages and levels. She brings both her experience and her love of the dance to Ballet Center at New Berlin. |
