I was introduced to yoga at the age of sixteen, and since that time Yoga has been an integral part of my life. I have studied Yoga with many
different teachers, who each had their own unique approach to the practice of Yoga. In 1995 I completed a 12 month Teacher Training Course with Friends in Yoga (FinY). Since 2000 I have been an instructor on the FinY Teacher Training Course, and Course Coordinator since 2002.
In 1998 I founded the Golden Lotus Yoga School, and currently teach a variety of classes in Perth, Western Australia.
My teaching is founded in the classical Hatha Yoga style, focusing on the development of inner well being through breathwork, postures (Asanas) and relaxation/meditation techniques.
My first experiences of Bali were in the late 70's, and I fell in love with its natural beauty, and the spirituality that is at the heart of daily existence for its people. After visiting Bali again in 2005, I was inspired to conduct yoga and cultural tours. My vision was to share the Bali that lies beyond the popular tourist areas, and offer participants a variety of cultural experiences.

Bali & Yogyakarta Yoga Tour

Enjoy Easter in Bali starting in Legian and travelling to Lovina and Ubud, then spend four nights in Yogyakarta exploring ancient Hindu and Buddhist monuments, museums and other places of interest
The final night of the trip will be spent in Bali and will include a sunset tour and dinner.
Cost of the trip (subject to verification of air fares, tour costs and accommodation) will be approx $2500 - $3000, inclusive of:

The trip is planned for July 2009 and numbers will be limited to a maxiimum of 10 people
Accommodations will be in small hotels or
homestays, and our morning yoga classes will
conducted in the grounds of our hotels.
At each location we will have the opportunity to explore local markets, temples and other places of interest, sample local cuisine and nightlife.
There will be some organized activities included in our trip, and free time is included for arranging your own sightseeing, spa treatments, or to just laze by the pool.

An intensive course in Bahasa Indonesia will be conducted during our stay here
3 nights in Ubud, staying at Ketut?s Place
Ubud is considered the cultural and artistic centre of Bali.
Included is a half day tour of the Sacred Monkey Forest and Art Village.
3 nights in Lovina, staying at Villa Jaya
While in Lovina we can visit Bali's only Buddhist Temple, swim in the hot springs, and visit Git Git Waterfall
Other options include snorkelling on the reef and dolphin watching
We will also have the opportunity to see first hand the work of
Southern Cross Bali Association (SCBA)
2 nights in Candi Dasa staying at Kelapa Mas
Activities will include a cooking class at Warung Puspa
