Must contain some fanfiction.
I prefer a site that has fanfiction from one fandom only but I will consider those that contain more than one fandom.
Please no actor/actress fiction. A story about Jean Luc Picard is fine but a story about Patrick Stewart is not. There are exceptions, such as Patrick Stewart suddenly finding himself aboard the Enterprise and having to pretend to be Capt. Picard.
Stories are predominantly G to PG-13.
There may be a scattering of R and NC-17 rated stories but if your site is predominately Adult Rated please save both of ourselves the trouble.
Any profanity and/or sex must only be a small part of your fiction and it must be a necessary part of the plot. Please, no PWP's that are nothing more than sexual orgies.
Must not contain pornography or contain links to pornographic sites
No slash stories unless it is part of the canon of the fandom you are writing about.
Large fandom archives (ones containing more than 100 stories) may be exempt from the rating and slash rules.
Must exhibit both good grammar and good spelling.
I will not waste my time trying to interpret a poorly written story.
Your site must be easy to navigate.
You may be enamored with frames; I am not. If you do use frames, please keep them to a minimum.
Check to make sure all links are working.
I understand that all websites undergo a little bit of 'tweaking' now and then, but a site that is constantly 'under construction' is not ready for an award.
