THE BADDIES  (Since 1990):

A three piece Punk Rock band from Sydney.  These blokes have been playing Punk Rock and tearing up venues in Sydney for 3 decades and were described by Sydney's Drum Media magazine as "Sydney's unassuming Kings of Punk."

The Baddies will be making a rare appearance at the Sandringham Hotel on Thursday, August 14, 2009, and the Lansdowne Hotel on Friday 22nd May.

BAND MEMBERS & HISTORY:

The band line up features Paul Hayward on guitar.  Prior to the Baddies Paul played in Canberra / Sydney band ‘The Young Doctors’ (1978 – 1984).

Founding member, bassist and vocalist, John Morris previously played with ‘The Club of Rome’  (1980 -1984) and ‘The Moral Majority’

Drummer Terry Van Stee joined the band in 2004.  Terry played with   ‘Examplehead’  in the mid 80’s.

The band played their first show at the Sandringham Hotel in 1990 Newtown followed by regular appearances at The Evil Star, Surrey Hills. They appeared regularly at the BVH, Newtown, throughout the mid 90's , developing a strong local following.

The Baddies released their debut album in 2000 entitled ”‘The Baddies’ Worst”. The album featured tracks ‘In the Mood ‘ and Tonight they received airplay on ABC ‘s Rage and Channel 31’s Blokesworld.  

The band has been slowly recording a new album.
