This page is to honor the mothers in my life who have raised me, helped me, encouraged me and loved me.  This page is dedicated, first of all, to my mom who has been there during my most trying times and my happiest as well.  I can't thank you enough for all you've done for me, nor will I ever find the words to express my gratitude or my love.  This page is also dedicated to my mother-in-law who constantly defies the stereotype of a mother-in-law.  You have always had kind words and an open heart and I appreciate all you've done for me.  I know our grandmothers won't see this (due to lack of computer access), but they too have impacted our families and our lives and we cherish them and their love and concern.
Happy Mother's Day
A Mother's Love

There is no love, like a mother's love,
no stronger bond on earth...
like the precious bond that comes from God,
to a mother, when she gives birth.

A mother's love is forever strong,
never changing for all time...
and when her children need her most,
a mother's love will shine.

God bless these special mothers,
God bless them every one...
for all the tears and heartache,
and for the special work they've done.

When her days on earth are over,
a mother's love lives on...
through many generations,
with God's blessings on each one.

Be thankful for our mothers,
for they love with a higher love...
from the power God has given,
and the strength from up above.

"Of all the rights of women, the greatest is to be a mother."~~By Lin Yutang.~~

"God could not be everywhere and therefore he made mothers."
~~Jewish proverb.~~

A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials, heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine, desert us when troubles thicken around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts. ~~By Washington Irving (1783-1859).~~
AND GRANDMA'S TOO...
"While we honor all our mothers
with words of love and praise.
While we tell about their goodness
and their kind and loving ways.
We should also think of Grandma,
she's a mother too, you see....
For she mothered my dear mother
as my mother mothers me."

YOU WERE THERE.....
You were there when we took our first steps,
And went unsteadily across the floor.
You pushed and prodded: encouraged and guided,
Until our steps took us out the door...
You worry now "Are they ok?"
Is there more you could have done?
As we walk the paths of our unknown
You wonder"Where have my children gone?"
Where we are is where you have led us,
With your special love you showed us a way,
To believe in ourselves and the decisions we make.
Taking on the challenge of life day-to-day.
And where we go you can be sure,
In spirit you shall never be alone.
For where you are is what matters most to us,
Because to us that will always be home...
