Arizona Rangers (AzR) is a sport shooting club incorporated in Scandinavian Western Shooters (SWS), the Norwegian Cowboy Action Shooting Federation, and pracyice the fantastic sport of Cowboy Action Shooting (CAS). Last year (May 2000) SWS became an approved shooting federation by the Royal Norwegian Justice Departement. Arizona Rangers is (in adition of being incorporated in SWS) an associated fraction of a local shooting club; Svartkrutten Skyteklubb (The Blackpowder ShootingClub) in Fredrikstad, Oestfold County in the SouthEastern part of Norway (prox. 70-110km SouthEast of Oslo). This as all of AzR`members also is members of Svartkrutten Skyteklubb, and as we use the club`s shooting range, shooting schedule and its chatt-&-coffie-shed.

Arizona Rangers was officialy foundet August 2nd 2000 at the mentioned chatt-&-coffie-shed. As proof of membership we use authentic Az Ranger badges (stars, that is).

AzR`s main objective is to educate skilled CAS sportsmen and to promote CAS on a correct and good manner.

Pr. April 1st we`ve got 11 members, whereas three is women, three drives a Ford F-150 Pick-Up Truck and three drives a 4x4. Four are SASS members. Four own horses. and one own a horse trailer

We hope to achieve one CAS shooting practice pr. month
