Every year, thousands of dogs and cats are put to sleep right here at the Lancaster shelter. You can help by adopting one of these needy friends.
You can adopt a pet directly from the LA County shelter. Be sure to search under 'adoptable pets' AND 'lost and found pets'. (The pictures you see on the 'available' page have 24-48 hours to live! Those on the 'lost and found' page usually only have 4-5 days for their owner to find them, before they are put down!)
OR -- adopt a pet from an animal rescue. Click here for a listing of local pet rescues. These animals are already spayed/neutered, bathed and many even have basic training!
