| Yes, these border backgrounds are wide, they need to be!
Those of us (fortunate enough) having a 17, 19 or 21" monitor and surf with resolutions of 1024 x 768 (or higher) see TOO many pages where the
left border design repeats 3/4 of the way across the page -- and the text on those pages is hard to read when it lands over the border decoration repeat!
When it's installed as a background, your text will automatically wrap to fit the viewer's screen and only as much 'white' will show as is needed. If you don't
know what your monitor's resolution is, see the
"Resolution"
page in the HTML help area of this site to explain what it is, and how to change it.
Feel free to mix and match the icons on the backgrounds -- be different, use the witches icon on the bat background, and/or alternate dividing bars on whichever backgrounds you choose. |
