'19" alloys, scissor doors and an ultra low kit from a German designer'

We were on our way to fill fuel when far away we seen this ver low black sportscar waiting at a signal. It was easily recognised as a Mercedes due to a big logo in the center. When we came close, we noticed the huge wheels, and the ultra-low front skirts. Our first impressions was that it was a Brabus SLK, but then on seeing the badge behind we realised it was something called "Fab-Design". An amazing kit, 19-in ultra low profile tyres.
We were in for some more shock, because the owner reached his apartment and there is a little slope at the entrance. The poor car was desperately trying to enter the building without causing much damage to itself. The car is sooo low that it actually scraped thru the entrance.
And that is not the end. The owner parked the car, and then its wings opened up. The car had scissor doors!!! I guess the suspension was also lowered because I couldnt even put a finger between the tyre and the wheelarch. The owner was very kind enough to open the top and let us have a few pics.

FAB DESIGN has developed for it a fitting bodykit, which underlines even more his background and confers to the two-seater a more sporty appearance.
The framed double-deck wing profiles reduces by high speed the downforce of the vehicle. The sideways air guidance improves additionaly the cooling of the brake discs and avoid fading by hardest efforts.
The sideskirts are equipped with an integrated diffusor that reduces the downforce of the vehicle and the making of a wing on the trunk's cover unnecessary.
The Roadster runs on the FAB DESIGN wheels set type S16 in spoke design. At the front axle with 9J x 19 and at the rearaxle with 10J x 19 inch large wheels with Dunlop Sportmax tires dimensions 235/35 ZR 19 and 265/30 ZR 19. A special fitted sport suspension lowers the vehicle up to 30 mm without missing any day to day abilities.
FAB DESIGN Roadster is also equipped with a sliding doors system. This has been developed especially for the SLK and can be opened or closed manually without more efforts comparing to the normal door. The extravagant appearance is guarantee while stepping into the vehicle.
