| ASANM is an ASCA affiliate club based in Central New Mexico dedicated to the protection and advancement of the Australian Shepherd breed. Our club strives to: -Preserve the versatility of the breed -Encourage and promote ethical, responsible breeding of the purebred Australain Shepherd -Promote, educate and assist all owners of the breed to improve their knowledge of the breed and it's history -Encourage sportsmanlike competition in all areas of performance, Conformation, Obedience, Agility & Herding -Conduct our shows and trials in conformity with ASCA rules and regulations. -Promote responsible dog ownership through education and training -Promote harmony and encouragement of all handlers and competitors within the community. ASANM actively holds ASCA sanctioned events throughout the year as well as educational activities for members and new puppy or dog owners in the community. Although our club's Conformation shows are open to ASCA registered Australian Shepherds only, the Obedience, Herding and Agility trials we host are open to many other breeds including registered mixed breeds. |
