| About the Round Table
The American Revolution Round
Table of Philadelphia brings together a diverse group of people united by
a common interest in the American Revolutionary Era. We meet on the fourth
Wednesday of the month, from September through June at Cathedral Village in their Cathedral Hall building, 600 East Cathedral Road, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19128. Cathedral Village has a 40 acre beautifully landscaped campus with lots of off street parking and their own security staff. It is located where Henry and Ridge Avenues merge at the intersection with Cathedral Road. Note that November and December meetings have different dates.
The meeting starts promptly at 7:30 p.m. A group of members and most of
the ARRTOP Advisory Board will meet for dinner at 6:00 p.m. at a nearby restaurant and we share
dinner with our guest speaker and you are cordially invited. If you want to attend dinner please contact John A. Nagy, President at paperman@hotmail.com/ for this months dinner location.

Meetings are free and open to the public!!! The main event of the evening
is a speaker on some aspect of the American Revolutionary Era. If you like our programs and/or web site and wish to join our
organization, membership dues are a very low $15.00 per year. It helps to pay our expenses. We need your support to continue the quality of our programs.Click here for an application.

Message
The goal of ARRTOP is to be the premier forum and organization in the
Philadelphia region concerning Revolutionary War era interests. Since its
inception, ARRTOP has touched upon and been active in all the aspects described
in its mission statement.
ARRTOP has committed itself to bringing to you and to the public at large a
wide variety of speakers, authors, researchers, and historians to share with us their research into the period of American history that has
influenced this country more than any other aspect of this nation's experience. I believe that we provide the highest quality of speakers on the American Revolution in the Philadelphia area.
ARRTOP is firmly committed to the goal of Revolutionary War era historical
preservation and heritage.

Joint Meeting with the Friends of Valley Forge at Educational Building at Valley Forge National Park
A reception for paid members of both organizations at 6:00 p.m. near the book store.
The public presentation begins at 7:30 p.m.

Robert A. Mayers on his new book (June 2009) The War Man: The True Story of a Citizen-Soldier Who Fought from Quebec to Yorktown.
It is about the experiences of John Allison of the 3rd New York Infantry. He served from July 17, 1775 to June 1783
