From 1946 until 1962 Camp Arrowhead in Allegany State Park, in New York State, was the summer home of thousands of youngsters from the Buffalo and Western New York region. The camp was located at what is now shown on a map as Camp 12, RD2, in the Park.
It was a coed camp, run for 8 weeks every summer, by Joe and Dorothy Manch and Bert and Clare Chalmer of Buffalo.
This web site is designed to honor and bring back some of the great memories from those days. I am looking for any former campers or staff to help me put together these memories. I am going to post some of the pictures I have found, and I ask that you send me copies of your memorabilia to also be included. I can be reached at Rosenblitt@Buffalo.com. Don't forget to check the e-mail link for messages from former campers and counselors. Under the e-mail page there is also a "Where are they now..." page which lists as many of the names that I have been able to find. See if any bring back memories.
