Lou
Otto began riding horses at 9 years old at his uncle's racing thoroughbred
farm in Hollywood, FL. His uncle put him on a 2 year old stallion
and said if he came back on the horse his uncle would teach him to
ride.
Subsequent summers were spent learning horses from Uncle Roan
and from his Aunt Louise, a Creek Indian with an uncanny ability to
relate to horses.
In subsequent years he ran a pony day camp and training
program in California, putting over 1000 children through the camp
program and training championship gymkhana riders.
In 1994 he moved
to the Denver area and continued training, clinics and riding lessons
using a relationship based process.
His techniques result in
a cooperative, williing horse - and isn't that what we all want?
About the trainer
Do you have a "problem" horse?
No problem! While some
trainers don't want to work with "problem" horses, we believe that
most problems are simply a lack of education. Houdini, pictured above,
was a "problem" horse. Read his Success Story along with others.
