Welcome!! This is a new site. We are a small, closed critique group of aspiring children's writers. If you are interested in joining our group, feel free to email the moderator or click on the link to your left to request an invitation. If you are serious about writing for children, we suggest you do the following:
1. Check out the SCBWI and Verla Kay's sites to the right. They offer a wealth of information. Writing for children is a lot harder than you think!!! Join the SCWBI if you can afford it.
2. Purchase the book, "Children's Writers & Illustrator's Market." It provides information about publishing houses and magazines. It also provides very informative interviews, resource referrals, and information about grants and awards.
3. Join the children's writer's group list. You will receive a ton of emails everyday, but with them, a ton of writing and marketing tips. This is a wonderfully supportive and entertaining group! The link for this group is to your right.
4. Write, review and revise your work. If you feel it is ready to be published, find a critique group - like ours! There are many out there. The SCBWI and the children's writers list can also help you find one.
