The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway. Well folks - please understand that... It is nice to be important but it is more important to be nice. What can give us more joy than a friend can ? Even more...is there something we need more? True blue friends….make you feel warm; they are automatically on the same wave length; they feel genuinely sorry and come to your assistance when you are in trouble; you can speak freely to them, you do not have to be on guard; they really listen; they care about what you are doing… the list could go on and on… The most I can do for a friend is simply to be his friend. Did you know... that...?????? Courtesy is a jewel that is quite out of fashion these days. Etiquette is one facet Of man's behavior. People say that manners maketh a man and good manners come out of good breeding. Etiquette is learnt at a very young age because as we know what is not bent at five, cannot be bent at fifty. Good manners are the mark Of a gentleman and a real gentleman always tries to consider other people's feelings. Good manners are necessary for success in life. Always respect God, your parents, relatives, teachers and your friends and always remember that : Thanks is such a little word... No bigger than a minute... However, there is a world of meaning... Even though I keep my eyes
closed against the morning light

Even though I huddle in my bed and put off rising, I give thanks that I have the strength to rise. There are many who are bedridden.
Even though the first hour of my day is hectic, when socks are lost, toast is burned and tempers are short, my children are so loud, I give thanks for my family. There are many who are lonely.
Even though our breakfast table never looks like the pictures in magazines, and the menu is at times unbalanced, I give thanks for the food we have. There are many who are hungry.
Even though the routine of my job sometimes is monotonous, and sometimes is too hectic, I give thanks for the opportunity to work. There are many who have no
jobs.
Even though I grumble and bemoan my fate from day to day, and wish my circumstances were not so modest, I give thanks......for life... for the-LIFE THAT I HAVE... ......AND I AM-TRULY BLESSED!!!
Life the way it is... Life is a succession of lessons...... which must be lived to be understood....
Memories... ......they fade but - they never die...!!!
Life... ...is no brief candle to me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I have gotten hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn-as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations.

Forgiveness...!!! Why is it hard to forgive others? Usually because we believe that they are 90% to blame for whatever the problem, that I am not as bad as they are.......... So I start to carry the load of other people's actions. If my ego is too hurt, I will have the sense of correction, of justice: 'I know I am right', 'That is not fair'. But if I start to forgive from the heart, ......sincerely, then this kind of feeling and attitude begins to dissolve. I remain humble and this forgiveness will bring me closer to others.
