As you can read in 'About Apex', my mother bred Boxers so I grew up with them from the age of 4. So there have been lots of special boxers in my past including Hexi, Peppi, Gundi, Axel, Friedel, and Pippa.
But the Boxers that have been my very own companions are of course extra special to me. Fratzi was the first, then her daughter, Freddy. While my current dogs are not related to Fratzi or Freddy, they live on in my mother's lines in Australia and of course in memories.
My big bear of a dog, Wilma is mother, grandma or great grandma to all the current Apex Boxers. I chose to let Wilma rest in July 2006. She would have celebrated her 14th birthday in September. Such a strong dog deserved to go before age robbed her of all her strength and dignity.
GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN
