Message Dear Colleagues and Friends It is with great pleasure that the Host Committee extends to you a very warm welcome to attend the 16th General Assembly of the Asia and Pacific Alliance of YMCAs to be held in Singapore from 9th to 13th March 2004 at the Novotel Apollo Singapore. A Youth Forum will be held immediately before the General Assembly from 7th to 9th March 2004, at the YMCAs in Singapore. Besides the work groups, discussions and council meetings, we look forward to rekindling ties, meeting new friends and extending to each one our warm and sunny hospitality in Singapore. Do take time to enjoy what Singapore has to offer in terms of sightseeing, recreation and relaxation. Singapore has a cosmopolitan, multiracial and multicultural population, and offers an introduction into a variety of cultures and cuisines. Optional sightseeing programmes will be offered for spouses and family members. The official accommodation and conference venue is the Novotel Apollo Singapore, a four-star hotel with excellent conference, business and recreation facilities. We have prepared this folder with some preliminary information to help in your planning and preparation. So mark the dates on your calendar, and register early. See you in March!
