Welcome to the Home Page of the 2004 Boardgame Players Association's Age of Renaissance Play by E-mail Tournament. My name is Ken Gutermuth and I will be the GM for this tournament once again this year. The inaugral 2001 & 2002 BPA AoR PBeM tournamments have been successfully completed with Tom Taaffe and Bill Crenshaw emerging with the wood. The 2003 tournament is well into the semi-finals. The first three tournaments were huge successes drawing 48, 57, and 57 entrants. Let's see if we can increase this level.

In an effort to finish the first round prior to summer vacations, this year's tournament is beginning on January 15, 2004. Below are links to the Tournament Players, Tournament Rules, Dice Templates, Game Progress, FAQ, Errata, History Cards, Advance Summary, 2001, 2002 and 2003 Tournament (where you can see a sample of the website used to track each game), and BPA. Those interested in joining the tournament should send an email to aorbpa2004@aol.com as soon as possible. All entrants must be members of the BPA in the year that the tournament is started. If you are not currently a member, you can become an associate member for $10 which entitles you to play in all of the BPA PBeM tournaments. Information on joining the BPA and the ongoing PBeM tournaments they sponsor can be found at www.boardgamers.org.
