Math Resource Center @  Amos A. Lawrence School
MATH IS FUN

MIssion: Math is all around us in our everyday lives. We use math when we set our alarm clocks, allocate time to eat lunch, shop, calculate tips, and in myriad other ways. Math is also a part of literacy when we sequence ideas before writing, a part of Social Studies when we read maps or charts, and a part of Science when we make lists and graphs or study the periodic table.

Math is not an isolated subject that is taught for one period a day. As math is an integral part of our daily lives, we need to make it fun, stimulating, and accessible to all students.

The Math Resource Center aims to work as a liaison between parents, teachers, and students to enjoy, support, and enhance Math for all.
