Antithesis LARP is a game of intrigue, adventure, and magic based in the fantasy world of Shy’el.  Players take the role of characters in this world, just like in other table-top role-playing games, but instead of rolling dice, players act out their characters’ actions with the help of padded boffer weapons and other props.  Characters may be human or non-human, so costumes and make-up are an integral part of the game, helping to distinguish those players who portray the stone-like Sheln from the willowy Elandi or noble Lupen. From game-on, the players immerse themselves in this fantasy world and become other people.  The game is not scripted, and all activity is done ad lib, so each person’s actions can affect the course of the story, and even the world of Shy’el.  With a basic costume and a keen imagination, anyone can join in to become part of the vibrant society of Antithesis LARP.
