Late At Night:
Sometimes late at night when I can稚 sleep. I lay awake and think of you. It can go one of two ways at this point. Good or sad. When I知 not torturing myself with the "what ifs". I think of what your life might be like now. I usually see you smiling sitting on a log, on the bank by your river, out behind your cabin. There are wild flowers growing in the greenest of green grass and you have a nice, quiet, easy life. I hear birds singing and I see the wild life not far away, you must feed them, I think. You池e sitting there fishing and enjoying yourself completely. Then I see our pets come running up to you, the ones who致e left too. There are so many, Stinky our little ferret is hopping around at your toes which are bare as usual. Our dogs and cats are romping back and forth wanting to play with you. I laugh when I see this. And I know that you池e telling me, "See mama they go here too." It makes me happy to see them running about your legs as you sit on the log. You seem so peaceful sitting there fishing on the bank, and it痴 a sunny beautiful day in heaven. I see a "big woods" behind your cabin. I see mountains as I look around it痴 so lovely at your home. And then I see one of your grandpas, walk up to you. You always say, "Hi grampa, sit down and lets fish for awhile." It makes me even happier when I see this, cuz I know that you池e not alone. I smile again as I lay on my pillow, knowing everything is right in your piece of heaven. Peace and love fill my heart then, and sometimes tears fill my eyes, but I wipe them away. Because I know you池e ok and so happy now. And then I知 able to fall asleep dreaming of the day when I get my piece of heaven too. Knowing that I will see you then.
