My portfolio includes projects and materials of which I am
particularly proud that represent the wide range of
knowledge, ideas, and experience I bring to the classes that I
teach.
It documents work that I have done to develop my skills
and create a quality curriculum for my students.
It allows me a context for self-reflection, just as any
portfolio I ask my students to keep.
It allows others to make their own assessments regarding
my abilities.
In addition, I decided that an electronic
portfolio:
highlights my familiarity with technology, which
is becoming more central to school and everyday life.
