ALNI Indonesia

The Asian Labor Network on IFIs (ALNI) is a network of trade uions, non-government organization and academics from the Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand. It seeks to bring about changes in the policies of international financial institutions like the IMF, the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank where these policies directly and indirectly ipact upon workers and society in general. ALNI seeks to enggage IFIs in constructive dialogues regarding these policies and push for policies and programs that protects workers and their organization, encourage the participation of labor and the civil society in the development process and advance the democratization agenda.
