Update on Happy Howie...

March 30, 2009

"He's doing great and I think he finally realized he's in his final home, because he's all smiles now!"

Thanks, Sue

Linda and Larry,

I like it here in my new home.  I've adapted to the heat.  Do you like my new haircut?  Mulletts are the rage here in TX.

I miss you !

Linda,

Our boy is doing really well!  He's doing well on a leash and sits on command.

He enjoys hanging on the couch with Dad.

My neighbor (his Aunt Diane) from the picture adores him and he seemed so comfortable with her.

When Mike got home Saturday evening, he took to him
immediately and seemed to understand that he's got a full-time playmate in
him.  I will definitely get a family picture once he slows down enough to
pose!
I'll continue to keep you all posted on his progress!

Hugs and love,
Meredith

She came to me with the name Ava and after tying so very hard to come up with a name for her, all you have to do is look into those's eyes of hers to discover that she is indeed
Ava.

Ivan, the little hairy thing, I have had for 3 years already. This is of Ava and Ivan sharing space and time better together.
Ava dying of embarrassment as Ed made her try on her new sweater.
Ava all tuckered out and in need of a cat nap..

Currently as I write this, she has left the ottoman and has just taken over the chair completely while lying  on top of the cat bed which you can see pictured on the chair. Gee, I just hope that there isn't a cat in the bed while under Ava's belly.

Update:
I switched out the soft side cat bed for their wicker cat bed in order for my cats to still have their chair. Well Ava decided that it was her chair now and nestled her self down into the wicker cat bed on top of the chair Well, the chair is now hers!

(Not to mention the love seat, sofa as well as our laps)

Ah.....All mine at last!

We have had Ava for four weeks now and  we love her to pieces and could not have asked for a better companion to join in our family!  Thanks so very much!

Love,

Barbara

Ollie??  Elvis???

TOBY!!!

Dear Linda and Jennifer,
We tried Ollie for days and he just looked more and more confused, so I
tried Toby again and his ears perked up and he started wagging his tail!
So... he has chosen to stick with his old name and may I say that the amount
of treats and love he gets from everyone who calls him has, I think,
rejuvenated this name for him. plus, he had little enough that was his own,
I felt that he at least should be able to keep his name if he wanted to.  he
is settling in nicely and has been dubbed the "king of the dog run"!  : )

Be Well,
Chantelle, Mandy and Toby.
