History Of The
Jeweled Wolf... Many
years ago, when the world was new the ancient
races began to divide and claim the land. Each
race had its strengths and weaknesses and each
was different, some preyed on the lives of other
races, some lived off the land. When the wolf was
created one ruled supreme, Nequeo'Medius was what
it was called. A gender less wolf creature, it
roamed the lands like the many other creature who
were beginning to form themselves. Nequeo'Medius
wander through out the lands trying to find a
place where its people could thrive and live in
peace. The first found such a place, and named it
The Natcka TimberLands. Over the years the wolf's
people changed and evolved, slowly jewels began
to form in the wolves' foreheads. Each wolf
became different; elements were form from earth,
fire, air, and water. The new wolves thrived in
their new home and soon new elements were begging
to form, animal, wiccan, copy, blue fire, mixed,
arctic and desert. Each was different from one
another, Nequeo'Medius was happy. For many years
Jeweled Wolves have lived in peace with one
another, with the spirit of Nequeo'Medius
watching over and protecting them. One day two
pups were born on the same day at the same
second, one was deformed and horrid looking.
Spikes lined his back and large bat like wings
protruded from his shoulders. His fur was the
color of burnt embers, and spikes drove up from
his hind knees. Even his mother could not stand
the look of this horrible pup, he was banished to
Amber Sky a place where only the dead survive.
The other pup, born on the same day, was most
like the opposite. A pure white female, who bore
the horn of a unicorn. Her long feathered wings
shown when the light hit them just right. Her
tail was oddly deformed; it is long and slender
with a beautiful gray tuff on the end. A mane,
much like a horse, flowed down from her neck it
was as if the forces of lightness and darkness
has split and formed these two. So it was
declared that she would be the protector of these
lands, for she is the most powerful of all.
Basic
Information...
- Species-
Jeweled Wolves are like normal wolves,
but they are smaller and more
territorial. What makes the different
from most wolves is the jewel that forms
in their foreheads once they reach
adulthood. No one really knows why they
are there or what they do, but they are
quite valuable.
- Habitat-
Jeweled Wolves perfer to live in dense
forest like areas where there is plenty
of space for them. If there are no
forests around they can live on mountains
planes, and pritty much any where as long
as there is food and water near by.
- Appetite-
All jeweled wolves are carnivores,
meaning they eat meat. Jeweled wolves
only kill what they need to (Or when they
or their pups are threatened) and they
only can hunt creatures that are smaller
then themselves, unless there is a large
group of them. Their diets consist of
small rodents, rabbits, birds and fish.
- Naming
Rule- All Jeweled Wolves have two
names in one. The first name is given
when the pup is born. One name is related
to their color in terms of elements
flame or smoke
for a fire element pup. 'Ice' or
puddle, for a water element
pup and etc. The other name has to do
with their personality or interests, such
as 'hunter' (for a pup who likes to
stalk, or pounce), or 'seeker' (for one
who is curious, or is always confused).
The naming rule also works in the
opposite way.
Forming
Packs, Mates and Offspring...
- Offspring-
Jeweled Wolf pups are born with out their
jewels, so it is hard to tell if it is a
Jeweled Wolf or a regular wolf. Littlers
normaly consist of 1-2 pups, any more is
considered dangerous for the mother.
- Forming
a Pack- To form one you must first
adopt or have adopted a Jeweled Wolf.
Then when the Wolf is an adult you must
make a page where the Pack can be
located. There can be either a lead male
or lead female who starts the Pack. Make
sure that no one in the pack is related
other wise they can't mate with their
reletive.
- Finding
a Mate- When finding a mate make sure
your wolf is full grown (pups
can't mate!) Next make sure the other
wolf is not related to you, if they are
keep looking. When breedings come around
you can each sign for one.
Preditors...
- Dragis-
Are a dragon like creature, meaning they
are huge they make even the biggest
Jeweled Wolf Seem puny. Some do have
wings but its not really common, No they
dont have any special powers but they can
speek not well though. They are
carnavores but they dont just hunt to
eat. They are very territoral and will
kill anything that might threaten them.
They have large taloned feet and huge
teeth that can rip through anything. You
might think that because they are
pretadors they are not that smart, but
they are very clever and will do anything
to get what they want. Smaller ones
(manly females) are very quick and
agiale, some Dragis even have hooked like
mouths that end in a hard yet sharp like
'beak'. Their eyes are crimson red and
they see very well at night as well as in
the day. They are the perfect preditor
and will stop at nothing to kill a
jeweled wolf. (Example1 Example 2)
- Gryphons-
Some have been know to attack and kill
Jeweled Wolves then steal their pups. It
all depends on the Gryphon some do and
some don't.
- Humans-
Humans are the biggest threat to Jeweled
Wolves ever. Humans have hunted and
slaughtered their kind for generations,
just for the jewel that is embed in their
heads. Some humans have been known to
kill the parents and steal the pups to
raise as their own then sell as pets. So
Jeweled Wolves are very cautious around
humans.
About
Each Element...
- Earth-
earths are friendly by nature, they
love all life yet tend to be timid around
more hostile elements.
Earth colors consist of greens and
browns.
- Fire-
Fire elements tend to have very little
tolerance about other elements. Still
some are more passives then others. Fires
like to be dominant; they make excellent
leaders and protectors. But if some one
does challenge them they wont back down
and wont give up.
Fire colors consist of reds, oranges,
yellows, blacks and dark shades of gray.
- Air-
airs are shy and peaceful, they prefer to
be left alone and prefer to stay out of
others business. They do enjoy watching
others just not interacting with them.
Air colors consist of light blues, and
light shades of gray including white.
- Water-
Water elements are fun loving elements,
they like to play and are excellent
swimmers. They enjoy being around other
water elements or aquatic creatures.
Water colors consist of Deep blues and
blue greens.
- Blue
Fire- blue Fire elements are the
rarest and only available through trades.
Their tempers tend to be cool and calm,
but if something sets them off watch out.
They dont mind other creatures but
prefer to be alone.
Blue Fire colors consist of all shades of
purple, and they have an unmistakable
flame that runs from their heads down
their backs and on the back of their
legs.
- Animal-
animal elements are quite rare too, and
are only accessible through a random
choosing. Animal elements are bold they
like to show off especially males. They
can be quite arrogant, thinking that
their element is better then the others.
Animal colors consist of what ever animal
they are based on.
- Desert-
deserts are one of the oddest of all the
jeweled wolves. Their fur is extremely
short and they are know for their thin
tails, which can some times have odd
looking tuffs on them. Their ears are
quite large and look almost mouse like in
shape. Deserts are very hard to find and
have rarely been seen in the wild.
Desert colors consist of plae peaches and
dull yellows.
- Artic-
arctics are the second most oddest of the
jeweled wolf species. Their fur is very
shaggy and they live in very cold
climates. You can tell them apart because
females have shaggy fur that rise on
their backs, while the males have lion
like manes. Not many of these elements
have been seen due to the climates they
live in.
Arctic colors consist of like blues and
whites.
- Mixed-
Mix- mixes are almost non-existent, they
are that rare. Stories have been told
about mixed elements but no one has ever
seen one, they are only a myth. They
arent even available through trade.
Mix colors consist of what ever the
elements are.
- Copy-
copies are an odd element they like to
copy other elements, they take on their
color attitude everything. It is very
difficult to tell a copy from one of the
other elements. The only way to get a
copy is if one is born to a mother, there
is like a one million to one chances of
that happing. But there still is that one
small chance.
Copy colors consist of what ever element
they are coping.
- Enchanted- Enchanted
elements are very mysterious in their
personality you never know what to
expect, but they are only aviable upon
special request and only when I say so,
making them very rare. Enchanted elements
are known by their glowing eyes, only a true
Enchanted element has them.
Enchanted colors consist of different
shades of purple and blue.
- Enchanted
Forest- These ones are only
aviable through extended breeding.
Enchanted Forest wolves are created when
a Earth and Enchanted breed and only then
there is a slim chance of it actully
happing. From what we know Enchanted
Forest wolves are different from all the
other wolves. They are loners and they
dislike other wolves who are not the same
element as they are. They can be very
agressive and will hunt and kill any
other wolf that vears off in to their
land.
Enchanted Forest colors consist of shades
of green with purple or blue markings.
