An iconic product of the Pop Art movement, one of Robert Indiana's "LOVE" sculptures can be found on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania. Every morning, I think of the movie "Yellow Submarine" when passing this sculpture surrounded by its greenery -- a time when the rising sun shines directly upon it (as pictured this morning). (A more popular sibling of the sculpture can be found across from City Hall, located in what's become known as "LOVE Park" in the heart of Center City, but to me the work seems visually diminished in that setting.)
