| Mrs. Wilds' Second Grade | |||||||||||||||||
| Howdy! My name is Angela Wilds, and I am thrilled to be one of the second grade teachers at Brilliant Elementary! I earned my Associate of Science Degree from John C. Calhoun Community College, my Bachelor of Science Degree from Athens State College, and my Master of Arts in Education Degree from the University of North Alabama. I have been employed by the Marion County School System since 1996. I enjoy teaching this age group, and I hope to remain a second grade teacher for many years to come! My favorite hobbies are horseback riding and fishing. My classroom is decorated with horses and a western theme. I live on what we call the Reining W Ranch (a horse farm) near Brilliant with my husband Jason, and my sons Boake and Brock. SECOND GRADE INFO: Students in second grade are encouraged to read every night. Spelling words are introduced at the beginning of each week, and students are tested on them at the end of each week. It is helpful to your child if you can review their math sheets with them daily. Working together, we can make a difference! :D |
