| Andreas Grundtvig, is the second son of a renowned Danish
artist and 'the
world's prettiest Norwegian'. He was born in Sweden but grew up on the English East Coast, where his daughter Vanessa, still lives. |

| Whilst living in Andalucia, Spain, Andreas started to write about his travels. Walking barefoot in the Sahara, hitchhiking to the four geographical extremes of Great Britain, crossing the Arctic Circle on a wide-eyed search for Santa, a brief visit to the Kingdom of Playland's territory bordered by Northern Lithuania and cycling through Andalusia on a bicycle rescued from a skip are just some of the things that have given inspiration for many of Andreas' stories. |
||
| Andreas has since had articles published in several American newspapers. At the request of major Swedish publishers Rabèn & Sjögren, he played a major role in translating the official Astrid
Lindgren (author of the popular children's character Pippi Longstocking) website. |
||
| In 2001 Andreas’ poem 'African Dream?'
reached the semi-finals of Poetry.com's International Open Amateur Poetry Contest and was later pubished in the book 'Letters from the Soul' {ISBN 0-7951-5160-8}. Branching into photography a sample of his pictures were published in ‘Gibraltar, Many Faces - One Nation’ (ISBN 0- 9583007-0-4). |
||
| Andreas Grundtvig is a native speaker of both English and Swedish and has a high level of four more European languages. He currently lives with his Lithuanian wife Alma, in Portugal. |
