The Center is home to the Sissag Varjabedian Armenian School, a Saturday program with classes from September to May for children ages 3-12.   Class hours are 9:30-1pm.

MER DOON: Saving women from the streets Prominent humanitarian Julie Ashikian and Dikranouhi Garabedian, director of Yerevan's Mer Doon Center, speak about the organization's efforts to shelter women who 'age out' of living in orphanages and to give them occupational training. 

FRI SEPT 19, 6:00pm :  WORLD FAMOUS OUD PLAYER RICHARD HAGOPIAN IN CONCERT The World Music Festival in Millennium Park Chicago opens an evening of Middle Eastern music & dance with a performance by Richard Hagopian and his Kef Time band.
