Workshop : 10 a.m. a visit to The University of New England and Regional Archives,
guided by Archivist, Mr Bill Oates.
Afternoon Activity: From 1 pm, a visit to The LDS Church Family History Research Cantre, 8 Oak Tree Drive Armidale, for a free workshop by transcription agents, Joy and Alan Murrin, who will speak on:
     *Getting the most from NSW BDM indexes and ways around problems,
     * English BDM and census records,
     * How to organise, preserve and find documents and how to use archive folders.
September meeting - Tuesday, 9 September at 7.30 p.m. Normal meeting time.

Topic: The Old Armidale Gaol.
September Workshop- Saturday, 20 Septembar, Excursion to Tingha leaving the Centre at 9 a.m.
We will visit the Wing Hing Long Museum Inc., and then to GreenValley to the Museum there.
Please bring a picnic lunch, and if you need transport, please contact a committee member.
October Meeting - Tuesday, 14 October at 7.30 p.m. Normal meeting time.
