| Friendly Health Services is a Medical Adult Day Services Center serving up to 42 participants a day from Calvert and southern Anne Arundel counties in Maryland. The Center provides medical assistance and supervision for adults with medical or mental helath disabilities. Hours of operation are 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday. SMTCCAC,Inc is a private nonprofit organization which has been in business since 1965. The agency provides services for eligible citizens that alleviate the causes and conditions of poverty, promote upward mobility, and enrich the quality of life. |
After arriving at the Center, the day starts with a nutritious breakfast and time for socialization. | Our professional team assess each individual's needs in collaboration with family members and the personal physician. A plan of care is developed and reviewed every 90 days with regards to: * Health Status * Mental Status * Nutrition * Rehabilitation Needs * Advocacy and Counselling * Recreation and Social Needs |

| Friendly is also certified by the Maryland Department of Aging as a Senior Center Plus Center. This service is a specialized program for frail seniors, age 50 and over. It is designed to promote optimal functioning and to have a positive impact on orientation. The program features recreational activities, opportunities for social interactions, respite for caregivers, breakfast, lunch and a snack. It also includes transportation to and from the Center. Senior Center Plus offers a level of care between an independent Senior Center and Adult Day Services. Call 410-535-6542 for more information on this service. |
