Children adopted into homes of a culture other than their own live with burdens that have gone largely undetected over the past thirty years.  Confused families of such children live with painful scars still affecting their lives in many ways.  Those children, as adults, spend their lives running, fighting and struggling, often consumed with addictions, numbness and failure.

Many issues are now in the past but the resolution of them is not.  Would some enlightenment about these issues help to refresh current relationships among family members?  Perhaps finding resolution to inner conflicts might affect the family dynamics now.  Perhaps some of the information in this book might lead to the resolution of some conflicts and bring peace.  Perhaps exploration of some of the issues might ease the limbo of ignorance and uncertainty we have lived in through the years.

This book traces the journey of trans-racial adoptive families, with particular emphasis on our family.  It describes the behavior, responses and mistakes of family members.  It describes a way toward hope, love and wholeness.  It offers other family members one way to live in limbo with peace.
