'65 Mustang
are an Adelaide based 5 piece band specialising in
exciting high energy music from the groovy sixties,
featuring songs originally recorded by the Easybeats,
Rolling Stones, the Beatles, the Kinks, the Who,
Yardbirds, Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Burdon and the
Animals, the Doors, Aretha Franklin, Dusty Springfield,
Nancy Sinatra, the Monkees, Van Morrison, Led Zeppelin,
and even Elvis. Formed in 2000, '65 Mustang have received widespread FM radio airplay throughout Australia, and in 2001 contributed a track to the Blues Oz compilation CD. A fun dance band that appeals to all ages and suits any occasion or venue, '65 Mustang have played everything from corporate functions, clubs, parties, hotels to formal balls and weddings. |
