Q. What is a community group?
A. A group that meets together for food, fellowship, fun, and volunteering in our community.
Q. What is Acts II Ministries?
A. It is an adult ministry at First Baptist Church targeted at adults of all ages and walks of life. The ministry encourages each community to volunteer their time within our community at least once a month. A couple of volunteer options last year included volunteering at Fire House Underground, making sack lunches for children, and more. Bring your volunteer ideas to your group and get them scheduled.
Q. How do I get involved in a community group?
A. Take a look at the Calendar to see what days and times the community groups are meeting. Each community group has a website where you can check out their meeting schedules.
Q. Is childcare provided?
A. If you need cihldcare, each group has a leader that takes care of the childcare needs of the group. All we ask is that if you are planning on bringing your children that you let the leader of the group know how many kids you are bringing and their ages.
Q. How do I get involved in leadership?
