 Zionism and racism.

 

The biggest lie is the accusation that Zionism is racism.

In fact, they are the exact opposites.

Racist ideologies uses the differences between peoples, such as race, religion, gender, economic status, etc., as an excuse to oppress, discriminate, and deprive people from their natural and most basic rights.
Such as equality under the law,
the right to gain property,
education,
health,
security
and the most basic right of all - life.

 

Zionism, on the other hand, sought and gained for the Jewish people the ability to rule themselves, which is a basic right shared by every nation. Under exile Jews where either oppressed by others or depended on the whims of the majority they leaved among. Whims and wimps that often turned into persecutions and pogroms.

Under exile Jews were never free. The self-rule given to Jews by Zionism ended much of that, giving Jews their desperately needed freedoms. There is nothing exclusive or supremacist about the right for self-rule. Ruling oneself is the exact opposite of being ruled by others. Thus Zionism is the exact opposite of racism.

The accusation that Zionism is racism is motivated by a simple reasoning:
Following the Holocaust, it became unacceptable and ineffective to call Jews a subhuman race. In the face of those horrors traditional anti-Semitism was seen as barbaric and primitive.

But the underline hatred remained - so it made a total makeover:

Since today, the worst accusation you can level at someone is to call them "racists". This, simple label, been the ultimate negation, which delegitimates and dehumanizes the accused almost automatically. Present day anti-Semites (a k a anti-Zionists) are trying to stick to the state of Israel the false accusations of "Racism" "Apartheid" and "ethnic cleansing" in order to deny Jews their inherit and most basic right for self-rule and self-determination, the right of every nation to be free.
In denying Jew these equal and most basic rights, anti-Zionists commit an act of discrimination, racism. Which is just as racist as the systematic and deliberate killing of civilians.

 

Anti-Semitism is simply racism aimed against Jews.

 

Anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism and that is all simple arithmetic:

 

Racism is the opposition to people's right to be free !

Zionism is the national liberation movement of the Jewish nation !

Therefore Anti Zionism = RACISM !

And when RACISM is aimed against JEWS it is ANTI-SEMITISM !

Thus: ANTI Zionism = ANTI-SEMETISM !
