Money raised from The Sunflower Project will go to help children who have been hurt by war. A package of seeds costs only $1.00. If your church or faith community would like to pass on these wonderful peace seeds please contact the Toronto Public Space Peace Gardeners.

The Toronto Faith Action Network/Interfaith Peace Fellowship is a non-profit faith-based affinity group dedicated to social justice issues of local and global concern. We believe that local action is needed to address the world's deeply rooted systemic problems such as racism, religious intolerance(faithism), economic inequities, sexism, homophobia, and environmental degradation.

Though we recognize the value of traditional aid organizations, we also recognize their limitations. The nature of structural injustice requires an alternative approach, which includes a diversity of non-violent tactics such as awareness campaigns, street demonstrations, fasts, civil disobedience, vigils, and forming coalitions with other groups pursuing similar goals.

Together we can make a difference, and take a step towards dignity, equality, and freedom of spirit.
