Welcome to Dive the Southwest!

This page started out as Dive Texas!  focussing on diving in West Texas.  As time went on, we have expanded and now include Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and the rest of Texas.  This website is defined by those who visit.  It will grow in the way YOU want it to.  What would you like to see added to or changed on Dive the Southwest! ? From the beginning, Dive the Southwest! (which began as Dive Texas!) was created to support the sport and safety of diving and to support divers.  I spend many hours each week building and expanding the site, sifting through email, researching, phone calling, etc., to make DSW! the best it can be.  It is a lot of work.. and though there have been a few "perks", the major payoff has been the emails I have gotten thanking me for the time and effort.. and telling me how DSW! has helped divers.  I have been told that people "met" and dived together after finding names on the (albeit small) buddy list.  People have visited new dive sites.  People have discovered they do not have to wait till that dive vacation to the Bahamas to dive.. there is diving within an hour or two drive from their home (in Colorado).  With each of these emails, I find out that DSW! is indeed helping people and that is what keeps me going (and going and going) in my efforts to expand and improve the site.

What I am asking of you... is that you drop me a line telling me how DSW! has helped you.  Have you found a new dive site?  Have you gotten back into diving (near your home) after quitting cause you couldn't afford to fly to that island paradise?  Have you made a new dive buddy?  Has your dive shop benefited from their listing?  Has your club gotten new members?  If so I am asking your drop me a line to let me know. It doesn't have to be much.. just a couple of lines to know all my efforts are indeed making a difference.. after, this is what DSW! was created to do.
