Welcome to Light of Life Christian Center where we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead.

God, Who was so rich in mercy toward us, loved each and every one of us so much that He sent His Son into the world to become a sacrifice for our sins. God's Word tells us that even while we were yet enemies of God, He sent His Son into the world to save us. It wasn't that we first loved Him but that He first loved us. God, the Father, made the first move on our behalf. He did it because of His great mercy and love for us and to us. Praise God it didn't stop there! He was buried and on the third day we rose again from the dead. He conquered death, hell and the grave. God showed forth His great power when He rose His Son, Jesus Christ, from the dead to live forever more. He inherited a more excellent name that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow in heaven, on earth and under the earth and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God, the Father.

In dying for mankind, the curtain in the temple which represented separation from God was torn in two from top to bottom, from heaven to earth and now we have access to the Father through His Son. Jesus through His death, burial and resurrection defeated the enemy, the devil once and for all. He came to destroy the works of the devil and made a specticle of him triumphing over him in it. Jesus overcame the world. He said all authority in heaven and on earth was given to Him. Now through Him, through faith in His sacrifce and resurrection we have been made blameless, righteous, holy children of the Living God if we accept what He has done for us and turn our lives over to His lordship.

We were dead in our sins and trespasses, but now we have been made alive unto God through faith. The same Spirit that rose Christ from the dead dwells in us if we are a born again child of God. Because He lives, we will live also. "The law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has made us free from the law of sin and death." Our life is now hidden in Christ. Whoever has the Son has life. Eternal Life is to know the true and living God, and Jesus Christ, Whom He sent. Christ Jesus is the image of the invisible God. He who sees the Son, sees the Father. Jesus said, "I am the Resurrection and the Life." Praise God for the promise of life in Christ Jesus. Because He lives we shall live also. Praise the name of Jesus!
