The San Francisco Friends Center & Meetinghouse is home to San Francisco Friends Meeting and the Pacific Mountain Region office of the American Friends Service Committee, and is located at
65 Ninth Street
San Francisco, CA 94103
which is a half-block off Market Street in downtown San Francisco. Use Civic Center BART or Muni Metro station or any Market Street bus line. Parking is generally available on the street on Sundays, or a limited number of parking passes are available for the lot next door.

Our phone number is (415) 431-7440. Leave a message - we do try to get back to people as promptly as possible.

Some traveling Friends may recall that our Meeting had overnight accomodations available at our old meetinghouse. That is no longer so.

Meeting for worship is held Sunday at 11 AM. There is religious education concurrently for older children, and childcare for younger children.

Meeting for business (which may usefully be thought of as "meeting for worship with attention to business") is held the second Sunday of each month at 1 PM. Childcare is provided.

There is Bible study on the first and third Sundays at 9:30 AM, hymn singing on second and fourth Sundays at 10:15 AM, and a Thursday evening discussion group, all at the meetinghouse.

The former Noe/Bernal Worship Group (later the "9:30 worship" when meeting at the Meetinghouse) has been laid down.

The West Marin Worship Group, meets Sunday at 11:30 AM, at the Presbyterian Church on Highway 1 in Point Reyes Station. For information call 415-488-9795 or 415-398-7229.

San Francisco Meeting is part of College Park Quarterly Meeting and Pacific Yearly Meeting.

Many San Francisco Friends enjoy our annual retreats at Ben Lomond Quaker Center, and other programs held there through the year.
