There's a story quite funny,

About a toy bunny,

And the wonderful things she can do;

Every bright Easter morning,

Without warning,

She colors eggs, red, green, or blue.

Some she covers with spots,

Some with quaint little dots,

And some with strange mixed colors, too

-- Red and green, blue and yellow,

But each unlike his fellow

Are eggs of every hue.

And it's odd, as folks say,

That on no other day

In all of the whole year through,

Does this wonderful bunny,

So busy and funny,

Color eggs of every hue.

If this story you doubt

She will soon find you out,

And what do you think she will do?

On the next Easter morning

She'll bring you without warning,

Those eggs of every hue.

You are always there for me,

Yet you know so little about me.

You don't care about my looks.

You only like my company,

My friendships and my chats.

You send me cute notes

To cheer me when I am down.

You send me jokes to make me laugh.

You tell me your secrets,

And I tell you mine.

And we both know the secret is safe.

You send me URLs to cute pages,

And I send you some back.

You tell me funny stories about your life,

And you share your sad times.

You send me roses, hugs and smiles.

I cherish every one.

You send me thoughts to help me

Get through another day.

At the end of the day,

You are still there to make the day

Seem so much better.

When I need someone to talk to,

You are always there for me.

Easter Thoughts of You

I wish that every holiday

could find us gathered

around the same table.

It's where I know

you and I both

would most like to be this Easter.

There is something so comforting

about the laughter and conversation

of friends and family

who share both past history

and dreams for the future.

This Easter, we cannot be together.

But even when separated by many miles,

I always have a sense

that we are present with one another

in our hearts.

You are my family.

Without you,

I would feel adrift in the world.

So this Easter,

as I see life bursting out

fresh and new all around me,

I am thankful that our love adapts

yet remains true through
