I didn't think that was too much too ask
Instead of throwing away all we had

We've had so many happy times together
Where did those days go?
The days when we were always together
Having fun, making love, going places

Now we're talking divorice
What happened to the us we used to be?
How idd we get to this so quickly?
Where's the love and tenderness?

I just wanted to be a part of your life
I wanted to feel needed and loved
I guess it was just too much

The long walks through the woods
Camping in the pouring rain
Dancing after the music stopped
Making love till the sun came up
