Since people usually call his last name, so I'll just call him Hayami. Hayami is a sales representative at Right Corporation. During normal business hours, he's just a normal businessman. But when emergency comes, he transforms into Shinesman Moss Green. He and the other four employees of Right Corporation have been chosen as a part of the secret department----The Special Duty Combat Unit. Their job is to fight with the aliens who wanted to invade the earth. Hayami has a fiancee named Yuriko.
Personal Point of View:
I have read the Shinesman manga before watching the anime, that was back in the summer of 1997. There are only 2 or 3 volumes (I forgot the exact number, but I believe there're 3 vols.). And I believe that the manga has not ended yet because there are still many secrets to be revealed, such as the relationship between Hitomi and her brother. When I saw the Shinesman anime tape on the shelf, I was pretty excited and thought that there would be more tapes coming out soon. But to my surprise, after watching the anime, it's the same thing as the manga. Then I waited for another year, the 2nd volume of anime still hasn't come out yet. I was quite disappointed. About Hayami and Yuriko, I don't know if they will still be a couple because I remembered that they have a fight about something (I don't remember the whole story).
It was my best friend who introduced this manga to me. That was when I went back to Hong Kong in the summer of 1997. First I've read the other manga drawn by Kaim Tachibana, it's called Letort. I was attracted by Tachibana's illustrations and story. So then I decided to read another manga (Shinesman) by Kaim Tachibana. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any information about Letort on the web. I guess I'll have to ask my friend to make a page for Letort.
