The 50's, carefree, cruisin, car hop's and love songs . Soda Shops,
poodle skirts, Pony tails , wimps {guys hairdo} jeans, bobby sox
and saddle oxfords were part of those happy days. Low Riders were
seen everywhere. From 30'ws & 40's chevy slope backs, cruisin
caddies , to split window VW's, Fun days were endless
and Sox Hops were the place tobe on Friday nights
50's Oldies
In thhe 60's, the Beatles made their American debut on the
Ed Sullivan show , the VietNam war started and students were
drafted to fight even before they graduated. .Flower Power and Peace
were the words of the day. and protesters chanted "Make Love not War".
As a nation watched in horror, President Kennedy , slumped over in a limousine,
as an assassin's bullet took his life. The country wept, watching
a small boy salute his slaim father, as he waved his small flag .
Peace and War, Love and Hate, Long hair, short hair., Nehru
jackets, bell bottoms , flowers or paisley....what a confusing decade it
was
60's 
Surf's Up !
Surfboards, tans, baggy shorts, bikini's, boards piled in the
back of a Ford woody, surfing was the sport ..Troll dolls {they've
made a 90's comeback} Surfer Joe , Beach Boys, Kasey Kasem hosted
"Shebang" a dance show on TV. hitting the beach, in the early dawn
waiting for that perfect wave of the day..
Was an Endless Summer all year long
Disco was
the dance, and Saturday Night Fever started it all. The "FlowerChildren"
and others were demanding a stop be put to a war which many deemed
senseless.
Alot of changes seemed to have happened during these years.

G, the Music world has so much variety. With choices like ,Heavy
Metal to Love Songs, Rap to Easy Listening., there is something for everyone
. The Macarena dance appeared on many dance floors.
Country /Western rock has many followers, a bit of country a bit of rock
N' roll produced many songs that made the grade on many music charts.
