General Information

Where is it? The Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park is located about 250 km (around 155 miles) from the city of Brasilia, in the North of the state of Goias. How to arrive there? Brasilia is connected to the small city of Alto Paraiso by a paved road (kept in very good conditions, by the way). From Alto Paraiso to the very small village of Sao Jorge (where the entry to the park is located) there a road 37 km (23 miles) long. Note: one can entry into the Park only if accompanied by a local guide. What will we find there? In the Park there are many beautiful waterfalls as well as rock canyons and hot water springs. In the city of Alto Paraiso there are many esoteric and new age groups. The town is often called "Capital of the Third Millennium".
