History:
Dehydrated was found by guitarist Brano Jurak in 1991 and by two members of split up band Brutalizer Palo and Pegas. A year later they decided to record their first demo "Festered Find". Nine song were signed in Slovak yet. Maybe its greatest achievement was the appreciation 'The demo tape of month' in one of the prestigious magazines (Spark) in then Czecho-Slovakia. Just six month elapsed and the second demo "Suffering Of The Living Mass" followed. Needful to say that the guys produced Carcass inspired abominable lyrics and brutal grind/death metal? These two demo tapes were the first pieces of the given genre and they are still considered to be a cult in Slovak underground. In 1993 the band got offering for split CD with another Slovak band Bestialit. Despite of problems in line up they recorded four songs under title "Burnt". How unexpected was the leave of Pegas to Krabathor. The existence of the band would be endangered, if the last member was anyone, but Brano. As first the guitarist Jano Bezovy comes to band and little later the singer Vlado Pagac. He brought new lyrics dealing with emotional side of life, what was the marked change into previous pathological image of the band. The last incoming to complete the line up was Maros Juliny the drummer. Thus two songs "Solid" and "Voluntary Misgiving" are recorded which take part in miscellaneous compilation tapes. The forth album "Ideas" was recorded in march 1996, but we were left waiting for the releasing longer that it is a custom in Slovakia. Finally in 1997 completed MC of "Ideas" was released on Metal Age Production, Slovakia. Whereas the late split was fury grindy music, mapping the pathological changes on human organism, Dehydrated of today speaks of something else and mainly in comprehensible language. The sicknesses were put aside and also the musical expression passed convalescent treatment. The new album is moving in the world of death metal, where technique comes to word and not seldom you hear melodies. And the ideas dealing with not fairly naturally orientated society...

After all the long awaited album of Dehydrated has been released on Metal Age production. It's fine that the band has composed a little bit of melody into their music and farewelled to orthodox grind core of their demos "Suffering...", "Festered..." and "Burnt" which are considered to be classical now. But it had been long, long ago... Since then more things have changed and mainly in line-up. Contribution became the lyrics of new singer Vlado dealing with so topical deepening of emotional barrier among people. All that in artistic very personal form. Perhaps it's not necessary to say the performance of musicians is more than great on this work. First the riffs of Brano deserve to get your attention. They are easy-to-read also thanks to good sound which prospers to other instruments as well. Finally guitar solos appears, that in previous recordings you would be searching for in vain. Also they helped the final variety and become a little harder music without hurting. Dehydrated don't rush for meaningless brutality, but using their technical skills to express their feelings, moods and states more clearly.
