Cadet Enlisted Grades of the CAP

All young men and women who enter the Cadet Program start at the grade of Cadet Airman Basic (C/BSC). C/BSC has no corresponding grade or ribbon. Cadets who demonstrate Leadership Abilites, dedication to Aerospace Education, Physical Training (PT), and posses sound moral character may progress to gain grade and rank.

Grade: Cadet Airman (C/AMN) Ribbon: Curry Achievement Ribbon





Grade: Cadet Airman First Class (C/A1C) Ribbon: Arnold Acievement Ribbon





Grade: Cadet Sergeant* (C/SGT) Ribbon: Wright Brothers Achievement Ribbon





Grade: Cadet Staff Sergeant* (C/SSG) Ribbon: Lindbergh Achievement Ribbon





Grade: Cadet Technical Sergeant* (C/TSG) Ribbon: Rickenback Achievement Ribbon





Grade: Cadet Master Sergeant* (C/MSG) Ribbons: (l to r) Doolittle Achievement Ribbon and Goddard Achievement Ribbon





*A diamond above the chevrons denotes the rank of Fist Sergeant(C/1SG). Ideally only Sergeants, or Non-Commissioned Officers(NCO's), may hold the rank of First Sergeant.
