Here you see two pictures of the most familiar buildings of cherished teddies town. The warm colours make you feel welcome. And you always are welcome in this little town. Once you found your way to it, you'll never want to leave, I bett !! Here you are standing in front of the newspaper building,(everyone reads the latest news in the Town Taddler here !) and City Hall,where the mayor works, as you all know.
Here is a picture of the mayor. He is a very wise teddie and was elected mayor years ago. Never has he let the bears of Teddie Town down. He is a just man and will always consider two sides to every story. Here in Cherished teddies Town, the mayor is also the judge of the Court of Teddielaw. His wife is the very elegant Eleanor. They named her after Eleanor Roosevelt, because those two women are so alike when it comes to charity. Eleanor is leading lady of the town but spends also a lot of time organising special charity events.
The mayor and his wife have two adorable children. They were blessed with a little boy and a little girl. Her name is Bernice and he is named Bernard. Together they make one happy little family.
Maybe it will take a little more time for them to become less shy but for the moment I feel they are adorable and I believe they will be important teddies in Teddie Town one day. Maybe Bernard will be mayor someday. I hear that Bernice would like to become a teacher and I think she will be very good at it because already she is teaching her little brother everything she knows.The next picture is taken in front of the railway station of teddies town.
Lloyd is the one that makes sure all the trains leave in time and everyone keeps the place tidy. Wait, I think I have a picture of Lloyd here somewhere. O,yes,...I see I keep in it my wallet. Here, now isn't Lloyd a handsome young man? 
Teddies Town is growing every day, because it is such a nice place to live. Look there is Bertie. He came as an immigrant from The United Kingdom, he and three other bears who are known as the UK-Bears. Bertie is a favourite bearfriend of Jeroen, you know.
This year they finally built a hospital in teddies town. Untill this year, all bears had to travel by train to the nearest big city to get an operation or something like that. But now, we have dr. Darlene Makebetter and she will keep all bears of teddie town healthy. Look there she is, going to the hospital to work
All teddies are really happy that she came to be a doctor for them here in teddies town. I know that some little teddieboy will be visiting her often. That is young Wade I'm talking about. He is such a handfull! Always getting himself into trouble. This time he really hurt his legs climbing in a tree,...BACKWARDS mind you !!Now, if that isn't asking for trouble !. Dr. Makebetter had a lot of work fixing this young man up, I can tell you !
Look there he is now, little Wade. Not walking very fast today, right? But he'll be better soon. Hopefully he has learned something of it too !! Last winter, when the teddies hospital had just been built, little Spencer had to be taken to hospital. He had been skiing and at one moment he was going much to fast and couldn't keep up with himself! I remember that he was very frightened but Dr. Makebetter was very gentle with him and it all seemed much worse than it was. 
Spencer had to spend about three weeks in hospital but after he was released he was his old self again and as naughty as he had ever been!!
His little girlfriend Nina visited him every day and sometimes she even brought balloons to cheer him up. Because when you're as active as Spencer is, it is not funny when you have to spend three weeks in bed! Nina knew how he was feeling and she did everything in her bearpower to cheer him up, and a good job she did!!Look at him; MY HERO ! He is such a treasure to my Cherished Teddies Town. I hope he will be very happy because he was engaged not so long ago. He brought his sweetheart home from the ball and in the park they told eachother about the love they felt and they got engaged.
O, it was so romantic. It reminds me of the time I got engaged. It was just a year ago and I can tell so exactly because the teddies help me count the years.
My fiance and I share this teddie since we are engaged for ONE year. The teddie you see on a picture here,
tells me we have been together for SIX years untill this day. And the next picture I will show you, tells me it has been FIVE years since we started living together>
Now, are these lovely teddies a part of my life or what??
If you can spare the time, there's so much more to tell you about my little friends in teddies town. For instance did you know that teddies love to visit the beach?
It's not often that the weather gets very hot here in teddies town but when it does, the young teddies go and visit the little beach that they have created themselves. It was a lot of work to create a beach but the young ones really love to play in the sand and the water. I remember that last summer Sandy and Gregg were by the sea and they had lots of fun. They didn't mind that I took their picture because they were much too busy to even notice! But it shows how much fun they had, doesn't it?
His parents wanted him to be a doctor or a lawyer but his heart was in entertainment so he became an artist and fell in love with Claudia who has never left his side ver since they met. He turned out to be very succesful and now when he visits teddietown with his little circus, his parents are very proud of him because they have realized how important it is for children to be free to make of their lives whatever they want to make of it.
When the circus is in town teddies from all over the world come to visit it because Bruno and Claudia and their young friend Wally 
will always save the best show of the season to be performed in teddies town.
The biggest fan of the circus is Bazza. He is an australian teddie and travels half around the world to see Bruno, Claudia and Wally perform.
Bazza has found a true friend in the Japanese teddie Machiko.
They now travel to Teddie Town together every year to visit the teddie circus of their friends. They come by boat and arrive in the little harbour that lies next to the sea I spoke off earlier.
The sailor of the ship
is a frequent visitor of teddies Town and he often comes to visit the circus or at least Teddie Town whenever he gets the chance but when the ship has to leave almost immediately again he always feels sorry not to be able to visit his little teddie friends. That means he will have to wait untill his next journey that will maybe take him to teddie town again. I think that is the fate of the sailor, don't you?Well, That is all I can tell you for now of the teddies adventures. I know that a Teddie journalist wrote a book about Cherished teddies Town and he won't like me telling you everything in advance. I therefor recommend that you read some more exciting stories ( really exciting, believe me!) in this book. You'll find a link to this booklet at the bottom of this paper. Here, take this paper and follow the directions!! It was fun talking to you and I hope you'll read the book and become a Teddie FAN!!
