Welcome to my VENICE page. I figure if you're here, the chances are good that you already know how wonderful and talented the guys in Venice are. Of course, there remains the other possibility that you've yet to be exposed to the auditory nirvana that a Venice CD can produce. Should that be the case, far be it from me to deprive poor little you of reaching such wild heights!

There! Now that you're refreshed and feeling perky, allow me to broaden your horizons even further by feeding you a little info...
Venice is comprised of two sets of brothers, Pat and Kipp Lennon and Michael and Mark Lennon, who also happen to be cousins. The Lennon family is a phenominally talented, highly musical group with multiple generations of musical background. The boys grew up in Venice, CA., thus the name of the band, and have been performing together for over 21 years. As you can guess, all this time together has really paid off. Singing harmony is to them what breathing is to the rest of us. I'm not over-exaggerating, Folks. These guys will blow you away. A few years back, an eponomous CD was released on AMI records and although it was good, the band has blown that recording right out of the water with their latest release "Born And Raised" (On Vanguard Records). The songs are beautifully sung, beautifully mixed and nothing short of a joy to listen to. Here's a photo. Run out and buy it. Lest I forget to mention this..there are a number of radio stations in the U.S. that are playing Venice songs. I have what is probably an incomplete list, however, it's better than nothing! If you live in one of the following areas, please call the station and ask to hear Venice. Call daily. Beg. Plead. Do whatever it takes. Here's the list:

Now...as I'm SURE you know, I do not have the only webpage in ComputerLand devoted to Venice! My friend Matt (aka Egoman) has an awesome site that will give you LOTS more info on what's happening with the band. Matt lives in the LA area. He gets to go to Venice gigs all the time. I, on the other hand, am stuck here in Tampa, Fla., WHERE, I might add, Venice NEVER performs ::pout:: Anyway, needless to say, Matt has lots more up-to-date info. I, however, have HISTORY!! :)
