artist statement "as visual artist my ideas filter through from dreams, myths,  folklore, religions and the collective unconscious.  when i paint or draw i try to listen to my work and let it tell me what it needs. art, i feel is a connection to the spirit and a voice that needs to be heard.

over the years my subjects and viewpoint have changed like the skin i shed. but, color has always played an important part in my work as a story teller. often symbolism capsulate themes or concepts. unconsciously my artwork has become a phases of self discoveryand growth.  a journey of the spirit with each new painting, drawing and concept.
