Inspiration is a hard feeling to describe, yet artists experience it and then use it to create.  Different people find different things to be inspiring; for some a word or phrase can trigger it, for others, myself included; it is usually something we see; and still others are inspired by dreams or ideas that just seem to come to them.   So I am not going to define inspiration, just celebrate it and those whom I find to be inspiring as well.  Basically it's a kind of celebration of life, experiences, people and art.

     Artists are inspired by lots of thing... including other artists.  I'm the same way; I look at others' artwork not as a way to judge mine, but as an opportunity to learn different approaches and techniques.  Studying other people's work helps me expand my way of viewing (thinking) about the world, and helps me appreciate different artistic styles.

   I am compiling a collection of inspiring or just interesting quotes. 

  A bunch of pictures that I have found on the net.   Some are inspiring, but all of them are beautiful.  I will give credit to the photographer whenever I can. 

  Art that I find to be inspiring by various artists, some famous others just friends, or I found it on the net.  I will give credit to the artist whenever I can.
